Tantalum Nitride Chip Resistors

Tantalum Nitride Chip Resistors with element features under 0.002 inch for high density or high value resistor applications. Low noise Stable TCR and chip sizes under 0.010 inch x 0.020 inch are routinely processed in production quantities.

  • Resistor features down to 1/2 mil x 1/2 mil for ultra-high density requirements or high ohmic value applications.
  • Single value or network applications available in chip sizes under 0.020" x 0.020"
  • Sheet resistivities: 25 to 200 ohms per square.
  • Long term stability is less than 0.5% change in value over 1000 hours at 125°C in air.

  • Tantalum nitride is self passivating (moisture resistant). The tantalum pentoxide passivation is formed during our air anneal stabilization process.
